About

James Olanipekun OJO, PhD, is a Professor of Marketing and Entrepreneurship in the Department of Business Administration, Mountain Top University, Prayer City, Ogun State. He was elevated to the rank of Professor in 2023.
A seasoned academic and Marketing professional, Prof. Ojo brings over three decades of rich industry experience across various and varied sectors of the economy before fully transitioning to full-time university lecturing in 2015. This unique blend of long-standing industry experience and scholarly depth enriches his teaching, research and mentorship.
His research interests focus on Consumer Behaviour, Brand Management and Entrepreneurship(Family Owned Businesses), areas in which he has made significant scholarly contributions through publications in reputable local and international peer-reviewed journals.
He is a Fellow, Institute of Entrepreneurs, Nigeria(FIoE) and a Fellow, Institute of Policy Management and Leadership Development(FIPMLD). He is passionate about bridging theory and practice, particularly in nurturing entrepreneurial mindsets and building sustainable brands in emerging economies.
