Evaluation of hydrocarbon reserves using integrated petrophysical analysis and seismic interpretation: A case study of TIM field at southwestern offshore Niger Delta oil province, Nigeria.
Abstract & Summary
The study presents log analysis results from a suite of gamma ray (GR), resistivity (LLD), neutron (PHIN) and density (RHOB) logs. It combines them with a 3D seismic interpretation of the TIM field in the southwestern offshore Niger Delta, Nigeria. It focuses mainly on evaluating the reserves of the hydrocarbon-bearing sands, using well data to identify the reservoirs and their petrophysical parameters.
