Profile

Mr. Akinmoye Oluwambe is an Industrial Design with focused experience on textiles and Clothing. He is currently a Lecturer in the Department of Fine and Applied Arts, Mountain Top University, Lagos-Ibadan Expressway, Ogun State. He holds Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech.), Master of Technology (M.Tech.) and Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Industrial Design (Textiles) from Federal University of Technology, Akure, Ondo State. He is a member of Textile Society of Nigeria (TSN) and Textile Researchers Association of Nigeria (TRAN). He has his research works published both in local and international reputable journals. His areas of research include crafting smart textile, studios and cottage textile production, sustainable textile and fashion/garment production, textile craft for well-being, continuous improvement and waste elimination in the ready-to-wear garment production through adoption of lean manufacturing techniques.
