Dr. Oyebanji Elizabeth earned her Bachelor of Botany from University of Lagos, Nigeria (2009) with top grade in her department, M.Sc. Botany with distinction (2013), and Ph.D(2017). in Botany all from University of Lagos, Nigeria. She worked in the Pharmacognosy Department at College of Medicine University of Lagos as a Student Intern for six month before obtaining her Bachelor of Science in Botany in November 2009. Dr. Oyebanji professional experience include working for Dafra Pharmaceutical Company in Nigeria. She is a member of British Society for Plant Pathology. She was a Graduate Assistant at University of Lagos, Nigeria between 2012 and 2013, also, a Research Assistant in Prof A. A Adekunle Laboratory (2013-2017) where she conducted quality research in solving human problems. In 2017, she joined Mountain Top University and Federal College of Education, Nigeria as an Adjunct Lecturer respectively. She is a Research Associate at the Institute of Oil, Gas, Environment and Sustainable Development, Afe Babalola University, Ado-Ekiti, Nigeria. Dr. Oyebanji has research interest in profering solution to human problems through the use of animal modelling, Mycology, phytomedicine and Molecular sequencing techniques in identifying organism to species level and also Phytomedicine in screening plant extract for major bioactive compounds in plants. Her research has been able to identify an important plant used in the treatment of diabetes and postrate cancer in wistar albino rats. In April 2018, she was offered a full time employment at Mountain Top University as a Lecturer.
