Opeyemi Ayodele had a doctorate and Masters degree in Biochemistry from Babcock University and University of Ibadan, respectively in Nigeria. She teaches Biochemistry and related courses in the Department of Biological Sciences, Mountain Top University, Nigeria. Her research and expertise spans phytomedicine, diabetology, hematology, toxicology, drug discovery and development, medicinal plants, isolation of bioactive compounds, membrane and lipid biochemistry, animal system experimental models, and food and products analysis. She is a professional member of the Institute Public Analysts of Nigeria (IPAN) and Nigerian Institute of food science and Technology (NIFST).
